Submission of Abstracts

The World Congress on Family Law and Children’s Rights 2017 (WCFLCR 2017) Scientific Committee welcomes abstract submissions for consideration at the Congress, taking place in Dublin from 4th – 7th June 2017.

Submission of abstracts is now closed, thank you to all those who submitted you will be notified by 3 November 2016.

Presentation Types

Contributions to the conference programme are invited as the following presentation types:
• Oral
• Poster
• Speaker’s Corner – The Speaker’s Corner will provide a forum for unconventional, eye catching presentations during the lunch break. Space will be set aside in the exhibiting area (where delegates will be mingling and browsing during the break) for a number of short, informal presentations, which should be brief and accessible.

Submission Process

The submission of material for presentation is by a two-stage process.

Step 1:
Abstract Submission

Please submit your abstract by 27 July 2016, identifying the appropriate theme.
The abstract must adhere to the following requirements:

• Word limit of 500 words, consisting of one or two summary paragraphs.
• Authors may indicate more than one affiliation if necessary.
• The corresponding/presenting author must create an account in the submission system and submit the abstract
• Abstracts must be submitted in Word Format.
• No images can be uploaded, if you would like to have an image on your abstract please include it in the document format.
• Authors are eligible to present more than one oral paper at the congress but to present multiple papers multiple authors must be registered.

Notification
Following review you will be informed by 3 November 2016 whether your contribution has been:

i. Accepted for oral presentation
ii. Accepted for poster presentation
iii. Accepted for speaker’s corner
iv. Not accepted

Step 2:
Full Paper Submission

If your contribution is accepted you will then be invited to submit a full paper for distribution in the congress pack.

Accepted Oral & Speakers Corner Presenters
All oral presenters will be required to submit a full paper. Speakers Corner presenters are required to send a shorter full paper of 4 pages. The full paper must be submitted by 3 April 2017.

• Word limit of 5,000 words for oral presenters.
• Authors may indicate more than one affiliation if necessary.
• The corresponding/presenting author must submit the full paper by the deadline.
• Full papers must be submitted in Word Format.
• No images can be uploaded, if you would like to have an image on your full paper include it in the document format.
• Authors are eligible to present more than one oral paper at the congress but to present multiple papers multiple authors must be registered.

Accepted Poster Presenters
• Accepted poster presenters required to send a PDF of their poster which will be added to the website. They are not required to submit a full paper.
• The deadline to submit the PDF of the poster is 3 April 2017. Details about how to submit the PDF and the format required will be sent directly to accepted poster presenters.

PLEASE NOTE:
Submissions will only be accepted through the online submission portal; no other format will be accepted.
